How do ear piercing close up? and when is it too late?
I’m 23 yrs old, and I’ve had my ears pierced when I was a baby. Due to maximum sensitivity I’ve stopped wearing earrings. Its to the point now that my right earloop is nearly almost ripped in two. And I don’t even wear any earrings, let alone heavy ones. I know there’s a specific timing allowed in order for them to close. But what is the time allowed? Cuz I haven’t been wearing earrings for yrs now and they’re still open. Does my case need a surgeon to be invloved to close them?

I agree, they may never close because you have had them for 23 years. If you never gauged your ear holes i really don’t think a surgeon could get involved because the holes are so tiny.I’ve had my ears pierced since i was seven and I take them out for extended periods of time and they never close.
